Eric Knecht and Nicholas Hilgeman, the English editors of the site, are former Fulbright-Egypt grantees who spent the past year working in Mansoura and Zagazig respectively. Contributor Mohamed Hatem Kamal is a graduate of Zagazig University, where he specialized in media studies. Mohamed Ezz, a Mansoura-based reporter for Rassd News, is also a frequent contributor.
